Kristen-Marie Lopez (they/she) was born in

New York City and raised in sunny Miami, FL.

As a Dominican and Puerto Rican performer, they bring a unique blend of cultural influences and a love for storytelling to every role. With a particular love for character and comedic roles, Kristen-Marie enjoys bringing humor and heart to the stage.

A graduate of SUNY Buffalo with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Kristen-Marie was passionate about advocating for diversity and inclusion within their program, serving as the Musical Theatre BIPOC Representative and taking on various leadership roles in DEI initiatives.

Recently, they had the opportunity to perform in Godspell, where they performed the Nick track and sang “We Beseech Thee.” They’re also thrilled to have played one of her dream roles Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein with Staring Buffalo.

Outside of performance, Kristen-Marie teaches theatre and dance, with a particular love for salsa, samba, and merengue. They also work in childcare, channeling their creativity into nurturing the next generation.

While they’re excited for their upcoming move to Toronto, Kristen-Marie will continue to bounce between NYC, Miami, Georgia, and Buffalo, staying connected to the places and people that inspire them. They share their home with Nala, their playful pitbull mix, who keeps things fun wherever they go.
